I have had my Nikon DSLR for 5 or 6 years now and not until just last week did I finally "get it" when it comes to shooting in manual. Well...let's be honest here. I still don't exactly "get it" but I am actully getting some nice shots now! Practice, practice, practice. That is my goal. Had I have taken a class or practiced more up until now my shots would be out of this world! :) A girl can dream. I wouldn't have jumped the manual fence had it not been for the simplified teaching from Wendy Whitacre who taught at SPARK a couple weekends ago. She was great...Spark was great. Beyond great...the details were over the top fantastic. In fact...I have been to so many wonderful creative events lately that have really got my wheels spinning, my heart and soul moving and hopefully these creative hands truly inspired. I just got home from The Creative Connection in Minneapolis on Sunday. I loved every single minute of it. BUT....more on that later as I need to get back to creating for Making Memories!
So we can all view my photography progress together (critic if you want please! I would love any tips and tidbits anyone wants to share with me! I love feedback!) I took these shots of a necklace I made using our Vintage Groove line. It was for my sweet mother-in-law for her birthday and I loved how it turned out! I hope she enjoys it!
You are so talented, Jayme! I am so envious!
