Well I am only a week late on this blog post...but better late than never right? This seems to be my motto lately. Ethan had a great year in Kindergarten! His teacher, Mrs. Searle was spectacular and Ethan truly adored her. He was so excited for school to be out, but on the night before the last day he told me that he was going to be sad that school was over. I asked him why....he responded...."Because I am going to miss my teacher." What a credit to the kind of teacher Mrs. Searle is! We wanted to give her a special gift and Ethan wanted to help me make something for her. So we decided to make her a necklace using our Vintage Groove jewelry pieces. We went down to my craft room and Ethan picked out all the pieces he wanted to use and then he arranged it how he wanted it put together. I tried to help him work jump rings...but it was a little challenging for his little hands! So I put it together and it turned out so lovely, don't you think?
When I picked up Ethan from school she was wearing it and loved it! Nice job Ethan and thank you Mrs. Searle for a wonderful year! Ethan will never forget you!
