Hair is an ongoing topic of discussion in our house. For Brayden, it's been long, curly-ish hair for the past couple of years. A look that I personally like ( I am a fan of long hair on guys - yes I have a bit of a rebellious streak in me!) Although I am only okay with it as long as he keeps it trimmed up and styled and not too shaggy. Most people in the family give him much grief about it. For Ethan, it's always been long-ish and curly since he was a baby....well other than the time he was one and we cut it and I was so upset that I did! It's just Ethan - curly brown and beautiful long hair. For Sophie, well..the poor girl doesn't have much hair to speak of. No fair! My boys both had grundles of hair as babies. When Ethan was 8 months I could have put it in a full-on ponytail - no joke. Anyhow...my boys have beautiful hair. Well Ethan has been telling me that he would like to have short spikey hair for a few months now. I didn't think he was really serious - so I told him I was going to take him to Cookie Cutters and he got very excited! Oh boy, I thought...what have I done! I love Ethan's hair! Saturday we did it. I cried as his hair fell to the floor, but found comfort in his excitement at the end result. The kid can't stop looking in the mirror now. He LOVES his new hair cut.
BEFORE
AFTER
I must admit...he does look very very handsome! But he also looks so much older!
Brayden is not a big fan of his curly (which is actually wavy) hair. He decided that he wanted to keep it long-ish, but get it straightened.
BEFORE (from Oct. last year)
AFTER (the best I could do - he doesn't like his pic taken!)
Now for Sophie girl. I don't have before and after hair pics for her because she still doesn't have enough hair for me to do anything with! Although, it is really starting to fill in and it is a beautiful strawberry blonde color. She is so adorable and I just can't get enough of her! Saturday, her cousin Avah had her 3rd birthday party and it was a "Party Hat Party"! Here are some pics of Sophie in her pretty party hat that I made for her!

They are each so beautiful Jayme! And that big boy haircut! He does look handsome and older!
